Privacy Policy

Last updated: August 6, 2026

LoneSlice respects your privacy. This policy explains what information the LoneSlice website and WooCommerce store collect, why it is used, when it may be shared, and the choices available to you.

Information we collect

When you browse, create an account, place an order, request support, or interact with the site, we may collect information you provide and information generated by your visit.

  • Contact and account information: name, email address, telephone number, username, password credentials in protected form, and account preferences.
  • Order information: products, quantities, order history, billing and shipping addresses, order notes, and fulfillment status.
  • Payment information: payment processors handle the information needed to authorize payment. LoneSlice may receive transaction identifiers, payment status, and limited payment-method details needed to manage the order.
  • Device and usage information: IP address, browser and device type, referring pages, requested pages, dates and times, cookie identifiers, and security or diagnostic events.
  • Communications: messages, return requests, product questions, and other information you choose to send us.

How we use information

  • Operate the website, shopping cart, checkout, and customer accounts
  • Process payments, orders, shipping, returns, refunds, and customer support
  • Send service messages such as order confirmations and account or security notices
  • Maintain inventory, business records, tax records, and fraud-prevention controls
  • Protect the website, diagnose problems, and improve store performance and usability
  • Comply with legal obligations and enforce store policies

Cookies and similar technology

WordPress and WooCommerce use cookies and similar browser storage to keep the cart working, remember sessions and account choices, support checkout, maintain security, and provide administrative functions. Blocking required cookies may prevent the cart, account, or checkout from working correctly.

When information is shared

We share personal information only as reasonably needed to operate the store, complete a request, protect the business and its customers, or comply with law. Recipients may include:

  • Website hosting, content-delivery, security, backup, and technical-support providers
  • Payment processors and fraud-prevention services selected for checkout
  • Shipping carriers, fulfillment providers, and address or delivery services
  • Professional advisers and government authorities when required for legal, tax, accounting, safety, or dispute purposes
  • A successor or buyer if the business or its assets are reorganized, financed, sold, or transferred, subject to applicable law

LoneSlice does not currently sell personal information for money or use it for targeted advertising based on activity across unrelated websites.

Embedded content and third-party services

The site may display videos, images, avatars, or other content delivered by third parties, including video-delivery and Gravatar services. Loading or interacting with embedded content may allow that provider to receive device, network, cookie, or usage information under its own privacy policy.

How long information is kept

We keep information only as long as reasonably needed for the purposes described here, including order fulfillment, support, warranties, fraud prevention, security, tax and accounting records, dispute resolution, and legal compliance. Retention periods vary by the type of record and applicable requirements. Information may be deleted, anonymized, or securely retained when it is no longer needed for active use.

Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards intended to protect personal information. No website, transmission, or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure, so customers should also protect their account passwords and notify LoneSlice of suspected unauthorized activity.

Your privacy choices and rights

You may review or update available account details through My Account. You may also request access to, correction of, or deletion of eligible personal information, or ask a question about how it is used. Some information must be retained for orders, taxes, security, fraud prevention, legal obligations, or the establishment or defense of claims.

Where applicable law provides additional privacy rights, LoneSlice will respond to verified requests as required. Contact LoneSlice using the contact information shown on the website or in your order confirmation. We may need to verify your identity before completing a request.

Children’s privacy

The LoneSlice store is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact LoneSlice so the situation can be reviewed.

Policy updates

We may update this policy when store practices, technology, or legal requirements change. The updated version will be posted on this page with a revised “Last updated” date.

LoneSlice Rewards and referrals

This policy also covers the LoneSlice Rewards app and the account it shares with the LoneSlice shop. We use your verified account details to connect your sign-in, membership, shopping and Rewards features. Rewards records include your preferences and agreement choices, invitations and referrals, qualifying activity, Slice balances and redemptions, and reward or approval status.

When an invitation or referral is recorded, the inviting member can see the contact details they entered, whether and when the friend joined, and related referral and reward status. Existing referral credit history can also show the friend’s display name, the kind of qualifying activity, the participating business or activity label, and the qualification date. The compact Tiny Sheep panel shows fewer details; that does not remove information already available in the member’s full referral history.

Necessary account, security, order and Rewards service notices are part of providing these services. Optional promotional email and SMS preferences are separate choices from joining Rewards.
